As a Minority-owned business, for more than 10 years Eco-Alpha has been dedicated to the development and utilization of qualified businesses from diverse and historically underrepresented groups including companies owned and operated by ethnic minorities, women, military veterans, disabled veterans, service-disabled veterans, people with disabilities and members of the community.
Our Supplier Diversity program is focused on facilitating the growth and development of businesses in our environmental and engineering facilities services; promoting equity and inclusion across our entire portfolio of supplier business partners and driving economic growth in the communities in which we do business.
The firm spends over millions with diverse businesses annually, and its strategy focuses on more than diverse supplier spend. Eco-Alpha is leveraging the strength of its total procurement partners, business and community partners to lower common barriers faced by diverse businesses.
We have created a Eco-Alpha Supplier Diversity Database (ESDD) through which certified diverse-owned businesses register with Eco-Alpha. The ESDD is the primary resource through which our supplier diversity and procurement teams identify eligible businesses for consideration in contracting opportunities.
Businesses registered in the EDSD are required to be diligent in maintaining current and accurate information in the system. This engagement ensures maximum consideration for appropriate opportunities, and enables access to special events and resources for diverse businesses including information sessions, workshops, programs and initiatives, and networking receptions.
At Eco-Alpha, supplier diversity is more than a program, it's a core value. Through our diversity initiatives, we create opportunities, foster innovation, and build a more inclusive and equitable supply chain.
Eco-Alpha is committed to amplifying the positive impact of supplier diversity by encouraging our suppliers (companies that work directly with us) to also engage and do business with diverse companies.
With the support of leading Tier 1 suppliers and corporate partners, Eco-Alpha has launched an initiative to collaborate with small and underrepresented Tier 2 suppliers across the U.S. We help these diverse businesses meet corporate requirements and expand their opportunities within the industry. By working together, we aim to strengthen the supply chain, foster inclusivity, and create pathways for diverse businesses to thrive.
